Can any number of SVN properties set to file or folder.

Is there any limitation on number of SVN properties (both custom and standard) can be set to files or folders or any number of properties can be set. What is the limitation for property value. Can we specify any large amount value to the property.    Kindly let me know what is real limitations on these properties and its values.    Thanks in advance.

It is unlikely that you will hit any limit if one exists.    The source code is open, you're free to inspect it yourself to find out if there is one.

  Yes, we know that source code is free and we can ensure anything ourselves by doing any experiments. The thing is, we don't want to re-invent the same wheel if any body already have experience on the same and purpose of posting here is if any one faced/know these things already they can share their own ideas or views here.

   Why do you think you'll hit some sort of limit? What would be the reason behind setting millions of properties on a file?
