SmartSVN 7.app can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer

Hello,  I downloaded version 7.0.6 tonight smartsvn-macosx-7_0_6.tar.gz  when I go to run it I get message  “SmartSVN 7.app” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.  Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.

... and here is what I get for version 6.6.12 from file smartsvn-macosx-6_6_12.tar.gz  “SmartSVN 6.6.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.  Mac OS X 10.8.1

Right-click the .app, select Open and continue.

Thanks. But right click / open does not work for the 6.6.12 ... still get “SmartSVN 6.6.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. This stuff did not happen when Syntevo owned SmartSVN. Is it going to be fixed?

That's weird, I just downloaded 6.6 on Mac OS X and it opened fine. Where exactly in the process do you get the error? Can you try downloading it again please?
