In earlier software there was a mechanism to find all questions which unanswered but I don't seem to find that option, can anyone help ?

New posts will show you all the posts you have not read. What's new will show you all recent posts in an activity stream. Unanswered is slightly ambiguous IMO, as a post could have many replies and still not be resolved.

Probably wrong choice of words, I am just looking for a simple filter which will give the post which does not have any replies, it was there in earlier software as it was easy to find which threads are waiting for reply.
