SuperSVN vs TortoiseSVN

Could someone please point me to a document that provides a good comparison and contrast between SuperSVN and TortoiseSVN, please?    In particular, what sorts of things are easier using SuperSVN? Or simply not doable in TortoiseSVN?    Any places where Tortoise is better than SuperSVN?    I've looked on the SuperSVN site. But for whatever reason, I don't find anything that is aimed at selling against Tortoise. As a Tortoise user, I'd like to see just what incremental benefit that SuperSVN will provide to me.    --Thanks!!  Dave Kellogg

There is no such thing as SuperSVN. So I guess TortoiseSVN is better in the "actually exists" category.

Repost: SmartSVN vs TortoiseSVN    Sorry Folks -- Major brain fade. I intended to say "SmartSVN", not "SuperSVN".    So with the re-wording, my question is:    Could someone please point me to a document that provides a good comparison and contrast between SmartSVN and TortoiseSVN, please?    In particular, what sorts of things are easier using SmartSVN? I can't point you to the document you request, but I will point out two key differences:  1. SmartSVN is cross-platform where TortoiseSVN is Windows-only. For some of us, that's huge, either because we simply don't have to deal with Windows boxes or because we want to use the same tools regardless of platform.  2. SmartSVN is a stand-alone app, while TortoiseSVN is an extension to the Windows Explorer.  --  /ron

Hi there,    A google search will give you a bunch of comparisons/blog posts about this, which would give the good and bad points about both clients. Examples are this, this and this.    The two points that rstewart raised are actually the two biggest advantages of SmartSVN IMO. I use Mac, Windows and Ubuntu and I don't want to have to get comfortable with three different clients. In addition, I prefer my apps to be separate and there when I want them, too much integration can be a bad thing.
