OSX 10.8.2 SmartSVN 7 no longer starts !

I've been using SmartSVN 7 (Licensed) for the past month on a Mac Book Pro running OSX 10.8.2.  UberSVN is running on my server (Mac Mini, running OSX 10.8.2 Server).    Everything has been fine until recently when the SmartSVN icon bounces a few times in the Dock and then stops !!! I've checked some logs but no errors seem to have been logged for the app. UberSVN is operating correctly on the server and via the web portal from both the server and the Mac Book Pro.    I have also downloaded the SmartSVN trial version again but the same thing still happens !    As I am fairly new to OSX and Unix being a Windows convert, I'm currently at a loss of what to do next ?    Regards...    GhostCoder.

I'm having what sounds like the same problem. SmartSVN ran fine for several days, but now immediately closes on launch (without any error information). My suspicion is that it's related to the Java for OS X 2012-006 update which I had just installed. I'm running OS X 10.7.5.

Fixed !!!    Thanks for the tip :)    I completely removed Java from my MacBookPro using the information given within the following articles:    http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57423014-263/how-to-install-and-uninstall-java-7-for-os-x/    http://www.java.com/en/download/help/mac_uninstall_java.xml    I then verified that no Java was installed by using the terminal command: java -version    Which displayed a dialog for me to install JRE-6 which I did. After which I used the terminal command again: java -version which displayed the following:    $ java -version  java version "1.6.0_37"  Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_37-b06-434-11M3909)  Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.12-b01-434, mixed mode)    SmartSVN 7 now runs without any problems although I did have to reenter the license key file, which wasn't a major problem :)
