Subversion capacities, and performance benchmarks

Hi All,  does anyone know of any published capacity and perofmance benchmarks and comparisons specifically for subversion?    It would be most excellent if they also compared the same metrics and benchmarks against other source managment repositories as well.    Before I go and try and runa a bunch of tests between subversion, perforce, CVS, and sourcesafe I would like to "borrow" any work that has already been done.    looking for things such as    perfoamcne comparison. (how long do commits take, tags, co, updates, merges, etc)  capacities. (how many active users can be supported, how large can the repository be, etc)    Compared across platforms (windows, *nix)    Thanks  Dan W    PS - I'm thinking about putting subversion in place to manage a LOT of activity and files, and can envision it getting to be 10's if not 100's of gig in size, and the whole advantage is that I could have a single repository for my environment.

Not sure what sort of existing stuff there is out there (I've heard some responses, but nothing comprehensive).    One thing to check is bdb vs fsfs, the new filesystem based backend for svn.    Anyways, the official mailing list at http://www.contactor.se/~dast/svnusers/ has a few threads about performance, etc. People have done very large repos. External tuning (fast drives, raid, etc.) is desirable for very large datasets (tens of gb's).
