Hi, I need some help with inserting a directory into the trunk path.  So, currently I have something like this;  Project_1  branches   tags  trunk  folder1  folder2  folder3  etc...  I need to insert a directory, so it looks like; Project_1  branches  tags  trunk  Container1  folder1  folder2  folder3  etc...  I need to keep all of the history of the files intact.  I tried using Move, but it seemed to lose all of the history.  Any way I can simply achieve this?  Thanks,

Hi banslow, welcome to the forum!  Apologies for the delay in replying to you, if you post here in the future we'll make sure to get back to you much sooner.   If you are using the latest version of SmartSVN (7.6.2) then you should be able to do this without losing the history. I tried this out myself to make sure; if you use the 'Move' function in SmartSVN to move the file to the new directory, and then 'Commit' the change you should be able to view the 'Log' for that specific file which will show you the history of said file.   If you're still having issues or if this doesn't work for you in the current version of SmartSVN then please get back to us. Similarly, if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to raise a support ticket.   Kind regards,   Liam McLennan WANdisco
