External diff using FileMerge broke

I had the external file comparator set up to use Apple's FileMerge. It had been working fine but now it gives me an error "FileMerge cannot open files in the “Java source code” format". I can use FileMerge manually to open/compare the local file. Any thoughts?    Thanks for you help,  Chris

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum!  Firstly, apologies for the delay in replying to you.   Did you get to the bottom of this? If you did it would be useful to share it here in case others experience a similar issue.   I can't locate any references to other users seeing this problem, so it's not a known issue with FileMerge or SmartSVN from what we are aware.   Did you upgrade to the latest SmartSVN version 7.6.2? I notice that you raised this query after 7.6.2's release so it may be related. If you did, did you see the problem before or after upgrading to the latest version?

I finally figured it out -  In External Comparator  Command: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Applications/FileMerge.app/Contents/MacOS/FileMerge Arguments: -left ${leftFile} -right ${rightFile}   I don't know why it broke suddenly and I don't know what I had in these when it broke, but now it works and I'm happy. Chris
