Special character colon needed in filename

Hello,    is there any way to have the special character colon (':') in filenames?    Within Linux a colon is allowed, within Windows not. But I always use Subversion only within Linux to checkin files like "ifcfg-eth0:2". But with SmartSVN I got an error message that certain characters are not allowed.    Please help.      Best regards    Uwe

Hi,  Are you using the same machine as both server and client, or are both machines (the one with the repository and the one you're checking the working copy out to) running Linux? Also, do you get the same error using both SmartSVN and the command line tools that come with the Apache Subversion?  Cheers,  Matt
