SmartSVN 8.5 Preview Build 3: Server SSL Certificate untrusted

Hi    I have just upgraded from SmartSVN 7.6.3 to 8.5 Preview Build 3. On opening an existing project I see a message in the transactions window that states that my repo has "Server SSL Certificate untrusted".    I then opened another project and immediately got a message box that says:    "Error validating server certificate for https://  - Unknown certificate issuer"    TortoiseSVN is not complaining about the working copies.    Any comments please?    David

SmartSVN later crashed with a runtime error in the Microsoft C++ runtime library.

Hi David, I know Marc has been replying to the support ticket you raised regarding this - I just wanted to add the below comment to this thread in case any other users come upon this and are seeing the same message in the transactions window.   The "Untrusted" dialogue is okay. Contrary to version 8.0, version 8.5 now verifies the identity of the server. The Transactions error you are seeing is most likely caused by having a converted "Repository Profile" which is missing the fingerprint. Upon the first operation you are executing (e.g. an Update), the "Untrusted" dialogue should occur and once you have confirmed the errors should be gone. Transactions fail "silently", as Remote State does, to avoid authentication dialogues from these background threads.   The message is normal, but we are looking at getting it to be hidden from view if we can.
