Hi, what happens when you go to Help -> Check for New Version... ? I've got 8.5.5 running on OSX 10.9.4 and it's working fine for me.
@orbrey: Thanks for the follow-up. When I checked this morning, it does show that 8.6 is available for download. As I indicated, this may be more a problem with my expectations, so perhaps a follow-up question might help clarify this for me: when a new version of SmartSVN is released, is the right approach to go download the new version, remove the old version, and install the new version? Or is there a different approach to updating? -- /ron
Well, I run it on OSX so it's just a matter of opening the .dmg file then copying the new application into the applications folder. They can both coexist in there if you wish but you can't have both open at the same time - my usual process is to copy the new app in after loading the dmg file, then delete the previous version and I've never had any issues. If you're using a different operating system though please let me know, I'll test it for you and report back. Hope that helps.
