SmartSVN 8.5 & 8.6 - Window disappears and refuses to reappear

System: Mac OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks  Build: 13E28    Another person I know experiencing this issue is on Macbook Air, Mavericks as well.    I only have 1 display, not multiple when this happens.    If I need to provide more information please let me know.    I have been using SmartSVN for a little over a month now, and the only issue I've been experiencing with it has been the windows for SmartSVN simply disappearing and then refusing the show up. This requires me to close the window and re-open SmartSVN completely, and sometimes even right after that the window will disappear again and not come back up. If I open the context menu on the icon in my dock and click Show All Windows, I can see the window is still open, however when I click it, it never shows back up.    This is a very annoying bug that I've heard several people who use this on Macs complain about, is there anyone else experiencing this issue or is there some way to resolve it???    Thanks!

Hi,  Do you have any specifics on when/how this happens, or is it different every time? It's an issue our development team are aware of but haven't as yet been able to find a cause for, so any information you may have would help a great deal.

Hi Matt,  Sorry for the late reply. I can't say there's anything that I've noticed that is causing the issue. I usually have a lot of windows open, such as:  iTerm2 Google Chrome (with many tabs) Sublime Text 3 Unibox Adium Spotify Steam 1Password Sequel Pro Excel  In the background: Flux BetterTouchTool Fantastical Alfred RescueTime DNSCrypt BackBlaze Dropbox Google Drive iStats Menu 3  These are usually the apps I have running both in the foreground and background, I'm not sure if that will help you at all. Sometimes it happens when I have the window minimized, and I open it from CMD+Tab, or click on it in the menu. Sometimes it happens when I'm click on menu items, it doesn't really happen if I click the top bar, only when I click something in the window (even the Commit window has this problem, if it's related to a project that disappears).

When you say not multiple displays when this happens, is the laptop sometimes connected to multiple displays? Just wondering if for some reason it's trying to display the SmartSVN window on a second display that isn't connected at the time.

I have connected my laptop to multiple displays at several points in time, but I have experienced the issue both when it's connected to a secondary display, and even when it's not. Is there something I should do to reset my display settings to clear this potential issue as the cause?

Just done some googling, and the suggested action is to untick 'Displays have different spaces' in mission control - bear in mind though if you're going to do that that the displays will reset to how they worked in mountain lion (which you may prefer, I'm not sure - just wanting to warn you).  Hope that helps?
