2017 ?

Hello,    I wonder why this forum address is now http://www.svnforum.org/2017/viewforum.php?f=3... what's with the magic 2017 number ? The current revision ? :).    JM.

You got it!  Originally, I had run 2.0.8, but I had modded it so much that simply running the phpBB patch files wasn't an option. So I had to work some magic in order to get the whole site updated without munging the db. As you noticed, I had to set up a new directory for the new files. They used to be housed in a directory called "forum", now they are in "2017".    Hope I didn't just give away any big security secrets!

   But why don't you rename the directory to something more explicit... like "forum" ? To tell you truth it broke all the links I bookmarked... I don't really understand anyway why you have to keep the old version.

Goa, you are right, it might have been a better idea to rename it back to "forum". I will keep that in mind next time I update the site and apologize for the broken links.    Aaron
