"New Private Message has arrived"

Today it was the second time I received an email stating    New Private Message has arrived    However, I don't have any. In the main view of the forum page beneath    Information  Logged in as: MasterD    " View posts since last visit  " View your posts  " View unanswered posts    it states that there is one new PM, however in my in/sent/outbox there are none.    Just to let you know that this is a bit strange.    EDIT: the "1 new PM" on the main view is gone now, stating I don't have any (new) PM.

I think I know what might have happened. There was an user who had spammed the forum by sending PMs. I deleted the user and hence the PMs sent by the user were also deleted.
