Icon overlays missing on second monitor only

The subject says it all but I can elaborate a little.  I have a laptop in a docking station with a second monitor. The laptop is open so I can use both screens and my desktop is extended to the second monitor. When I open an explorer window and view the repository, I can only see the icon overlays if the explorer window is on my laptop screen. As I drag the window to my second screen the icons disappear right at the crossover boundary to the second screen. They reappear when brought back to the laptop screen.  I have this version: TortoiseSVN 1.9.5, Build 27581 - 64 Bit , 2016/11/26 09:18:58  I'm running Windows 10  Laptop screen resolution is 1920x1080. Second screen resolution is 1680x1050
