Update

Hello guys,  I'm using Subverison 1.8 + Tortoise client.  1. Exporting Repository from Subversion 2. Locally changing a file 3. In the meantime, someone changes the same file (without any conflicts) and commits it to the repository  If the guy from point 2. clicks "refresh" I would expect subversion to merge the locally changed file with the new changes from the repository - but unfortunately this doesn't happen. Subversion only refreshed files, that are not changed locally.  Does anybody know the reason why?

Per this page it should merge in the change if “update” is selected: https://tortoisesvn.net/docs/nightly...ug-update.html  so could be a TortoiseSVN bug? Perhaps update to the latest TortoiseSVN version?! It’s ok to run a client that is ahead of the server...

Hmmm, I just installed the newest version of Tortoise and I checked out the local svn workspace once again and now it seems to work :-)  @GougR: Thank's for your help
