uberSVN version: uberSVN-1110_beta.exe  OS: WinXP SP2 with IE6.0, on Vmware 7.1  The machine is not connected to internet.    The installation of .exe was successful, to the dialog that opens the browser.    On "step1" page I've entered the repo path and key.  On step 2 page, I've entered admin details.  But then the NEXT button brings me back to step1, and I am unable to pass thru this.  Please advice.    There were no popups or other error messages.    Thanks,  dd

Could you let us know which Web browser you are using please?    If the answer is Internet Explorer, could you try in an alternative such as Firefox or Chrome if possible.    Many thanks,    Ian

And now a new gotcha...    I've switched to 1.7 before doing anything else, and created a new repo (all locally on the XP machine).  Now I can work with this repo only from the admin account I've created in setup.    I've created another user, but cannot access the repo from this account, not from command line svn and neither from browser interface.  Could not authenticate to server, authorization failed. Rejected basic challenge. ???    Web interface allows me to set user's password but not to log in to browse source using that account. Only as the admin.    The protocol for svn client is https.    What could be the problem?    Thanks,  dd.

Yes I assigned this user read and write access.  Tried to restart the svn server thru web interface and even restarted the machine.    Thanks,  dd

It seems that user names are case sensitive. When users are created in web interface, by default the user name = "full name", the 1st leter is uppercased. So I deleted that user and created new one with lowercase name.    Also, when installing on Windows server, the firewall must be opened manually (incoming TCP, the port number = shown in the setup dialog.    Still few small glitches here and there, but basically it works now.    Thanks!   - dd
