@bpribyl - I've sent you a PM. @adiebriggs - does the proxy work outside of uberSVN but on the same box? What do you see when you try to update?
workaround for upgrading ubersvn when going through proxy to internet

adiebriggs
proxy settings work fine for IE and can browse quite happily, error I get is: Update check failed: update.ubersvn.com

If NTLM updates are not yet implemented, how can I go about getting "offline updates"? Are they available on a web site somewhere?

Mand
We are here and still reading and responding. We did look into NTLM auth, but it turns out to be more complicated than first appeared, both in terms of licensing and implementation. Ultimately, as a ''freemium' product, the roadmap for uberSVN is dictated by the customers who have taken out support, maintenance or product contracts with us. NTLM auth hasn't come up in those discussions, and so the focus is directed elsewhere. There are a couple of choices here: - Use a different proxy/auth type - Backup uberSVN, uninstall the product and reinstall the latest version from the website If you're only planning to update every once in a while option 2 is not a massive overhead. If you can confirm what version you're running I'll test this and write a doc on how to do it (there are a couple more steps involved).

Let's explore option 1. I do have access to a different proxy, but it doesn't work either. The proxy works fine, but it we have firewall issues when downloading your files, even with this working proxy...will you please provide me a list all of the hosts and ports that need to be open on my firewall in order to download the updates?

Reminder: mbooth told me six months ago
Ah, yes. The update server is at update.ubersvn.com, but the actual downloads are redirected to mirrors around the world.I can connect to other mirrors on port 80, but not on other ports unless you tell me host names (or IP addresses) and ports.

Awesome. I'm sorry it took so long to get here for you, and thank you for your patience. FWIW I'm going to use the basis of this for a help article.
