Different projects with shared code
Hi, Is it possible to configure svn to have something like this? - base_project --- src - project1 --- link to base_project src --- config\ - project2 --- link to base_project src --- config\ project1 and project2 should checkout code from same common location (src from base_project). Config folder for each project is different. Thanks for help sergiu
I think what you're looking for is svn externals, see http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.6/svn.advanced.externals.html
Thanks for tips, but I still have problems to understand how to configure. I have 2 repository - /srv/svn/repo1 . Here is Project1 with all file stuffs - /srv/svn/repo2 (empty) I do this steps: - cd /tmp - svn checkout file:///srv/svn/repo2 repo2 - cd repo2 - svn propset svn:externals "Project1 -r0 http://127.0.0.1/svn/repo1/" . - svn commit -m "added external" What I do wrong? thank you
