Hi hughgallagher, Can you confirm that using the direct IP address does successfully resolve the connection? I assume it does but knowing that can at least put the uberSVN service state to rest (that its successfully running and accessible). Thanks Wayne

Hi , thanks for replying.
I still don't have access. What is a direct ip address? I have tried public and DNS IPaddresses but no luck. I have still to check the apache ports 9890 and 9880 but as these are non standard do I still nedd to configure them?
Thanks

No problem. When I say a direct connection, I mean trying from the WS2003 server desktop itself using the IP on the box. So open a web browser on the WS2003 desktop and enter the IP address assigned to the server (ipconfig from command line). If this is the original problem you're seeing, you could also try using localhost or the loopback address, 127.0.0.1. You should also ensure that the uberSVN services are running by checking the Services list for WANdisco. There should be two. If they're running, could you restart them and try again? That way we can determine if there's a fundamental problem with the Tomcat service, which is used to access the product or whether some external network issue is causing the inability to connect.

Are you using a firewall? If so, are the proper ports open?
